Billings Career Center Vocational Technical Education Opportunities

The Billings Career Center offers multiple opportunities in vocational and technical education which can be paired with academic preparation at a student's home school. Students have the opportunity to attend the Career Center as freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Did you know that while in high school you can build a house, repair automobiles, teach pre-kindergarten children? You can, and you may also learn digital photography, welding, machining, web page design, study interior decorating, have your own plant projects, culinary arts, study the medical field and lots more.

If you like an action approach to learning, consider enrolling at the Billings Career Education Center. At the Career Center, you can develop employment skills, receive your high school diploma, and prepare for college all at the same time. Career Center classes also count toward your graduation requirements in English, Social Studies, Math and Science. You will be able to continue to participate in activities at your home school.

The Career Center offers many Articulation Agreements with numerous colleges (College of Technology MSU, Northwest Community College in Powell, Sheridan Community College in Sheridan , MSU-B in Billings, plus others being developed). These agreements allow Career Center students to receive college credit for the vocational classes that are taken/passed here. See our counselor about this great opportunity.

The Career Center has published a brochure with class information. See your counselor to get your copy, or call the Career Center Counselor at 281-5386. If you would like a tour of the Career Center, please call to arrange a time.

Let's get together - the Career Center has a place for you!
