Health Benefits
The health and well-being of the District's employees is a primary concern. This page provides a snapshot of some of the Billings Public Schools employee benefits. For further information, contact the Insurance Office at 406-281-5045.
BEA/Admin Employees working 1.0 FTE will receive the full employee medical contribution of $1,017 towards the medical plan of their choosing. Employees with less than a 1.0 FTE will receive a prorated medical contribution. In place of a dental contribution BEA/Admin employees will receive $75 per plan year in either an HSA or FSA depending on what medical plan you choose.
BCEA/Contract Support/ Local #7770 Employees working 20+ hours per week qualify for the employee medical contribution of $1,106 & employee dental contribution of $65.64 per month. Members with employee only HDHP medical coverage will receive $89 per month into an HSA, FSA or limited FSA. Employees working 17-20 hours per week are eligible for benefits on a self-pay basis.

competitive rates, and a large national provider network. Employees benefit from
predictable out-of-pocket costs and access to high-quality dental care for
themselves and their families. The plan’s preventive care focus also supports long-
term health and helps reduce overall healthcare expenses.

Billings Public Schools offers VSP® Vision Insurance administered by MetLife, providing access to a broad network of eye care professionals and coverage for eye exams, lenses, and frames.
Billings Public Schools through VSP Vision Care provides you access to the TruHearing program, which saves VSP members 30-60% on hearing aids. Find out more information here!
Flexible Benefit Plan
Billings Public Schools provides employees a means of paying medical and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars through a Flexible Benefit Plan.
