DRIVER'S EDUCATION CLASSES FOR 2008/2009

Classes for Fall, Winter and Spring are on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 3:15 - 5:15. (A calendar is provided to the students on the first day of class. Please check for changes to the schedule due to early outs or vacation days). Students are allowed to make up 2 days during the Fall, Winter and Spring Sessions. NO EXCEPTIONS. The fee of $190.00 is required at the time of enrollment. If your child's name is not drawn in the lottery, the check will be returned by mail.

**IF DEMAND EXCEEDS AVAILABLE SLOTS DURING THE FALL, WINTER AND SPRING SESSIONS, A RANDOM DRAWING IS HELD**

Fall: Registration will be September 2nd, 3rd & 4th. A posting of the student's names drawn will be in office by 10:00am Monday, September 8th. Classes begin September 9th and end on November 13th. Student needs to be born on or before March 9, 1994 AND a high school student.

Winter: Registration will be November 17th thru November 21st. A posting of the student's names drawn will be in office by 10:00am Tuesday, November 25th. Classes begin December 2nd and end on February 19th. Student needs to be born on or before June 2, 1994 AND a high school student.

PLEASE NOTE: ANY STUDENT SIGNING UP FOR BOTH FALL & WINTER SESSION WHO'S NAME IS NOT DRAWN, WILL BE GUARANTEED A SPOT IN SPRING SESSION. (THE STUDENT STILL NEEDS TO REGISTER).

Spring: Registration will be February 16th thru February 20th. A posting of the student's names drawn will be in office by 10:00am Tuesday, February 24th. Classes begin March 10th and end on May 14th. Student needs to be born on or before September 10, 1994 AND a high school student.

Summer Sessions: Sign-ups will be the entire month of April in the main office of all Billings Public middle schools and high schools, St. Francis Upper, Billings Catholic High School, Trinity Lutheran and Lockwood. After that, you will need to come down to the Driver's Education office located in the basement of the Lincoln Center to register. Office hours are from 7:00am to 12:00pm, Monday thru Friday. Classes are held Monday thru Friday. There is an additional 12 hours students will sign up for (6 hours of driving time and 6 hours of observation). This is done by the instructor the first day of class. We are able to accommodate all students in the summer session, however once classes are set after April sign-ups, not all class times may be available.

1st Session: Classes begin on June 8th and end on July 9th
Student needs to be born on or before December 8, 1994 AND going into high school
Students may choose classroom time of 8:00am - 10:00am or 10:00am - 12:00pm
Students are allowed to make up 5 day. NO EXCEPTIONS

2nd Session: Classes begin on June 15th and end on July 16th.
Student needs to be born on or before December 15, 1994 AND going into high school
Classroom time is from 12:00pm - 2:00pm only.
Students are allowed to make up 2 days. NO EXCEPTIONS
