Education Foundation

The Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools believes that all students in Billings Public Schools deserve a rigorous, well-rounded education to prepare them for successful careers. To that end, the Education Foundation has worked diligently since 1988 to enhance the educational opportunities available to students in the district.

The mission of the Education Foundation is to promote excellence in education by providing opportunities and resources to Billings public school students.

History
The Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools was incorporated in 1988 by Billings residents who recognized the need to enhance educational opportunities for Billings students. Through endowments, scholarships, grants, programs, and special events, the Education Foundation provides financial resources for students and educators in Billings Public Schools. In cooperation with, but independent of, School District 2, the Foundation operates with two staff members and a volunteer board of directors.

Programs
The Education Foundation provides opportunities and resources for students and educators in Billings Public Schools through a variety of programs, grants, and scholarships. The overall goal for each of these activities is to promote and sustain excellence in education.
