Most classes for Fall, Winter, and Spring Session are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 — 5:15. Calendars are provided to parents and students. Please check the calendar for any changes. Students are allowed to make up 2 days during the Fall, Winter, and Spring Sessions. NO EXCEPTIONS. The fee of $200.00 is required at the time of enrollment. Please make checks payable to BPS (Billings Public Schools). If demand exceeds available slots during the Fall, Winter, and Spring Session, a random lottery drawing is held.
ANY STUDENT SIGNING UP FOR BOTH FALL & WINTER SESSION WHOSE NAME IS NOT DRAWN WILL BE GUARANTEED A SPOT IN THE SPRING SESION. (THE STUDENT STILL NEEDS TO REGISTER AND PAY THE FEE FOR THE SPRING SESSION)
Forms for registration will be available in the main office at Senior, Skyview, & West as well as the Driver's Education Office located at 415 N. 30th during the dates list below.
FALL: Registration will be August 29th thru September 9th. To be eligible for this session,students need to be born on or before March 20, 1997 AND a high school student. A posting of the student's names drawn will be in the main office by 10:00am Tuesday, September 13th. Classes begin on September 20th and end on November 21st. (Make-up is Tuesday, November 22nd)
WINTER: Registration will be October 31st thru November 4th. To be eligible for this session, students need to be born on or before June 6, 1997 AND a high school student. A posting of the student's names drawn will be in the main office by 10:00am Tuesday, November 8th. Classes begin on December 6th and end on February 14th. (Make-up is Wednesday, February 15th)
SPRING: Registration will be January 30th thru February 8th. To be eligible for this session, students need to be born on or before September 6, 1997 AND a high school student. A posting of the student's names drawn will be in the main office by 10:00am Friday, February 10th. Classes begin on March 6th and end on May 9th. (Make-up is Thursday, May 10th)
SUMMER SESSIONS: Registration will be April 2nd thru April 30th in the main office at all Billings Public Middle and High Schools, St. Francis Upper, Billings Catholic High School, Lockwood and Trinity Lutheran. To register after April 30th, you will need to go to the Driver's Education office located in the basement of the Lincoln Center at 415 N. 30th. Classes are held at Senior, Skyview, and West, Monday thru Friday. Students will sign up for an additional 12 hours of driving time (6 hours of driving and 6 hours of observation) on the first day of class with the instructor. We are able to accommodate all students in the summer sessions however, once classes are set after April sign-ups, not all sessions or class times may be available at each school.
